What is the scope?

Two quick questions, then we book a time to come look.

Pick an answer for all three so we know what we are looking at.

What we usually find on Okanagan properties

If any of these sound like yours, it is fixable. It is just not a weekend job.

Residential spec on a commercial site

Materials that are fine for a backyard fail fast under real foot traffic.

A schedule with other trades on it

Landscape is last, so it absorbs everyone else's delay and still has to hit the date.

Maintenance cost designed in by accident

Planting and irrigation choices at build time decide the annual bill forever.

Accessibility and grade requirements

Walkway grades and transitions are not somewhere to improvise.

Straight up: we are not the cheapest, and we are not a mow-and-blow maintenance crew. If the contract is going to the lowest number, someone will beat us. If you want a site that still holds up under real traffic in ten years, that is the work we do.

How it works

No call centre. No runaround. You deal with the people doing the work.

You tell us what you want

Send the form or call. Takes a couple of minutes.

We come and look

Mike or Tyson walks the property with you and talks through what is actually possible on your grade and your budget.

You get it in writing

A written quote with the scope laid out. No pressure to sign anything on the day.

Work we have done around the Okanagan

Real properties, real crews, no stock photos.

All our own work, on real properties around Kelowna and the Okanagan.

What Okanagan homeowners say

“Tyson & Mike’s commitment to detail, quality and customer satisfaction are as good as it gets. Our project was complex and dynamic, KDT handles these challenges with ease. If you are looking for quality and reliability, KDT is the answer.”

Justin Norbraten

“KDT Landscaping was one of the best and easiest companies to work with. I had many issues with other landscaping companies … Regardless of the size of the job they gave top tier service and executed it with sheer perfection.”

Matthew S.

“What really stood out though, was the quality of the craftsmanship. The attention to detail was incredible, and it’s clear that they take a lot of pride in their work. Everything was done with care and finished to a very high standard.”

Why people call us, and who we are not for

We work to a spec and a schedule

Landscape construction that turns up when the schedule says and builds what the drawings say.

Built for the traffic it will get

Commercial base and material choices, not scaled-up residential.

Straight up: we are not the cheapest, and we are not the right call for a mow-and-blow or a quick tidy before you list the house. If you want the lowest number, someone will beat us. If you want a site that still holds up under real traffic in ten years, that is the work we do.

Questions people ask before they call

Does it cost anything to have you come out?

No. We come and look at the property, talk through what you want, and send you a written quote. If it is not for you, that is completely fine.

What happens after I send the form?

Tyson calls you back, usually the same day. We book a time to come and walk the property with you.

Can you schedule around other trades?

Yes. Landscape is usually last on site, so we plan for the date moving and still hit the handover.

Can you work to a tender or a spec?

Yes. Send the drawings or the spec with the form, or tell us where to find them, and we will price to it.

What about accessibility and grade requirements?

Walkway grades and transitions get built to the spec, not improvised. That is most of what commercial hardscape is.

Do you come out to my town?

Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Summerland and Penticton. If you are nearby, ask.

Who actually turns up?

Mike, Tyson and the crew. We do not hand your job to a subcontractor you have never spoken to.

Can you work with what is already there?

Often, yes. Sometimes the existing base is worth keeping and sometimes it will fail again. We will tell you which.
